Homeschooling is a high calling! We're here to help. The Like a Mustard Seed Homeschool Conference is planned and run by homeschooling mamas to encourage, equip, inspire, and connect current and prospective homeschoolers like you. It is designed to provide both inspirational and practical information which we hope will fill up your cup, Mama. You are the heart of your homeschool, and you are worth the investment! This year's conference will focus on homeschooling with intention. With endless options, how do you make choices that will best fit your family? We're here to help you process this, and aim for the goal you have in mind, all the while trusting God will guide your steps. The conference includes: inspirational main sessions, various breakout sessions, a catered lunch from Jesse's BBQ, access to recorded content after the conference, a give-and-take table for gently used homeschooling supplies/curriculum, fantastic giveaways, and time to fellowship with others. It's an opportunity you don't want to miss! But if you must miss it, we will be recording many of the sessions and making a Virtual Conference available for purchase after the event. WHO: Current and prospective homeschooling mamas WHAT: A local homeschooling conference themed The Intentional Homeschool WHERE: Hopewell Christian Fellowship, 601 Hunsicker Road, Telford, PA WHEN: Saturday, August 9th from 9:00am - 4:00pm COST: $60 per person; $70 after July 31st BREAKOUT SESSIONS INCLUDE: - EDUCATING CHILDREN OF ALL AGES AT THE SAME TIME with Kristin Jones - PURPOSEFUL PLANNING: ANCHORING YOUR HOMESCHOOL with Kelsey Suder - LIFESTYLE LEARNING with Dorothy Christopher - YOUR STRUGGLING LEARNER with Melissa Villareal Hivner - HOMESCHOOLING FOR PROSPECTIVE/FIRST YEAR MAMAS with Dorothy Christopher - HOMESCHOOLING IN THE ELEMENTARY YEARS with Kelsey Suder - HOMESCHOOLING IN THE SECONDARY YEARS with Andrea Stange and Laura Jones PLEASE NOTE: - While we will be hosting this event from a biblical worldview, one does not need to have a biblical worldview to attend. - Nursing babies are welcomed to join their mothers. - While this conference is targeted for homeschooling mamas, homeschooling dads may sign up to participate. - Sessions of this conference will be recorded. Registrants consent to having their image/voice recorded and redistributed. - Conference tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred if you can no longer attend.
